The European Commission was the only one of the EU's big three institutions without its own identity when our design team took on this task. Creating an effective image meant first getting to grips with this multicultural institution's values, purpose and character. Cue close collaboration between our designers and the client to draw up a clear creative brief. Then the design work proper can begin.
The result? A distinct brand image anchored by a logo and visual identity that reflect the essence of this heavyweight political institution. A modular identity that works across 24 languages, 28 countries and all Commission departments, without compromising on coherence and continuity. The new look is now the Commission’s calling card across the EU and beyond.
